Justin Timberlake: Mirrors Music Video

By Jeremy Holcombe Leave a Comment

It seems that everything Justin Timberlake touches (musically) turns to gold. This is especially true of his latest music video. Timberlake gives us a special glimpse into his personal side with the music video “Mirrors.” The song is dedicated and pays tribute to his grandmother Sadie Bomar and late grandfather William Bomar, who died in December 2012.

The video takes us through his grandparent’s relationship, and gives us a glimpse of what their life was like and what it may be like now for the widow. While it is never directly referenced whether or not the widow is now alone, the video makes it pretty obvious.

Don’t worry, if you thought Timberlake himself was not going to make an appearance in the video, think again. He comes in during the last few minutes of the video and comes in with quite an entrance. His grandmother is seen dropping a wedding ring and Timberlake is seen catching the ring out of midair. A tribute to his grandfather, who was unable to attend Timberlake’s wedding last year due to illness.

The video for Mirrors is quite stunning, and will more than likely make you shed some tears, so be ready.
