Taylor Swift Debuts Star Studded Bad Blood Video

By Jeremy Holcombe Leave a Comment

To say Taylor Swift is the queen of the music world right now would be an understatement. Every move she makes is complete gold and the debut of her latest video titled Bad Blood is no different. Swift premiered the star studded Bad Blood video last night on the Billboard music awards. Needless to say, the video was jaw dropping. You can see it above.

The epic video opened the Billboard Music Awards last night and after 9 straight days of hype it delivered in every aspect. From the list of huge names Swift enrolled to be in the video including Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham, Hailee Steinfeld, Cara Delevingne, Jessica Alba, Cindy Crawford, Ellen Pompeo, Mariska Hargitay and Kendrick Lamar – the “Bad Blood” video focuses on what happens when Swift’s Catastrophe is double-crossed by Gomez’s Arsyn and subsequently seeks revenge.

The video is both entertaining and visually stunning… Think Sin City. Still though, with all the amazing guest stars Swift herself carries the video, and while it is always entertaining to see a bunch of big names in one video, your eyes never really leave Swift, who is both stunning and captivating.

“Bad Blood” is the fourth video Swift has released from her smash-hit album 1989, following “Shake It Off,” “Style” and “Blank Space.” Like “Blank Space,” it was directed by Joseph Kahn, who said on Twitter that he was editing the new clip up until the last minute.

On May 7th Swift began announcing the cast members for Bad Blood, each of which had their own personal poster released for the song. She also told every star to pick his or her own name for their character. The result? A huge cast of leading ladies and one man (Kendrick Lamar) headed by Swift herself and a lot of fun. Plenty of individual personality was also seen in the video.
